Abstract: This collection contains the administrative papers and correspondence between Mr. John Lloyd Raymond and the Sisters of St. Francis. Mr. Raymond was a long-time benefactor of the school, donating over 1,600 books as well as works of art, furniture, periodicals and other items he thought would be of interest to the Sisters and the students at the College of St. Francis.
This collection contains Mr. Raymond's correspondence received by the Sisters, mainly the current librarian at the time, from February 1950- February 1974. It also contains the correspondence of various Sisters to Mr. Raymond from 1950-1968.
